Beginners: Beginning Quilting
Learn the basics of quilting including rotary cutting and traditional piecing. In this class you will learn how to piece two different blocks, then sew the blocks together to create a row and sew the rows together to create your quilt top. It's impressive to see the blocks come together to form a secondary pattern. Edie will walk you through the entire quilt process, including borders, quilting and binding. She will be able to answer all your questions and keep it relaxed and fun. This class commences SUNDAY the 8th of September at 9am. Classes continue on TUESDAYS from 3-6 for 6 weeks.

Requirements:
Please bring to class: 1) sewing machine in good working order including foot pedal, electrical power cord, manual, tools and attachments that came with your machine, extra bobbins; 2) rotary cutter, rulers, scissors (these can be purchased in class if you do not already have them); 3) thread. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS are as per beginning quilting guide and will be sent via email after enrollment.
